How to book


Step 1

Please read the booking conditions carefully and complete all fields marked with an asterix * If fields do not apply, please mark "n/a".

Use one form per person per course.

Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent.

Step 2


Choose how you would like to book and pay.

Online:  You can book securely online by filling out the form below, indicating in the box at the end of the form whether you want to pay by cheque, bank transfer, or through PalPal's secure server.  PayPal accepts debit and credit cards. 

Once done press, "submit" and you will be initially contacted to say we have received your booking form.

By Post:  If you prefer to book and pay by cheque through the post.  Down load a booking form coastal_spirit_booking_form_v1.pdf

Please note cheques are made out to Roger Chandler

Step 3

We process your booking details.
 
Paying on line:   We email you a PayPal invoice, read the invoice and see the PayPal payment button, click the payment button, log into the secure PayPal payment page, review the details, click pay. Please note there is an additional 4% charge for this service.  

Paying by bank transfer or cheque:  We email you a standard invoice, you read the invoice, phone your bank to transfer money or complete a cheque and post to us.

Step 4

Once payment has been received we will contact you with details and information on your course or expedition.  Please note that your course or expedition is confirmed when we have received your deposit and confirmed your reservation via email.

Booking Conditions and Cancellations



I understand that a deposit of 50% of the total course fee is required on booking to reserve a place. Full payment must be made four weeks before the start of the course. If booking on a course that is to commence within the next four weeks please pay the full amount.


I understand that if I make an alteration to a booking once a confirmation has been sent, I must give my new instructions in writing at least four weeks before the start of the course.


I understand that cancelling my booking within four weeks prior to the start of the course will result in my deposit being retained. Also, if my place cannot be filled then I will be liable for the full course fee.


I understand that each course has to be a flexible. If the weather or conditions on the sea are challenging, we will aim to use this to our advantage and maximize the relevant training on the water wherever possible.


Coastal Spirit will notify the customer of cancellation as soon as it is able to do so where on reasonable grounds cancellation of a course is believed necessary due to unsuitable or dangerous conditions. In the event of this happening we will offer customers the choice of either a full refund of the fee paid or another booking on a different date.


I understand that my chosen course may be hazardous and I accept a certain element of risk.


I understand that my car is left parked at my own risk and is not covered by Coastal Spirit or any other parners insurance policy.


I understand if I'm under the age of 18 I need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


I understand that it is my responsibility to arrange cancellation and curtailment insurance, as well as accident coverage as necessary.


I am physically fit for the course I have chosen.


I have read and understand the above conditions.*


Photographs, video material and written accounts are a great way to remember a course. Coastal Spirit may take photos and video material of you taking part. On occasion Coastal Spirit may use such material for marketing and copies of all material can be available on request. If you have a particular concern about the above consent please leave the box below blank. Otherwise please check the box to say you have read and understood the statement and give consent.
